Initial Appointment

For your initial appointment at SpineAustin, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow us sufficient time to complete all of the necessary paperwork.

Referrals

Some health plans have specific rules you must follow in order to be seen by a specialist. If your health insurance company requires a referral from a primary care physician, remember that it is YOUR responsibility to provide us with the necessary referral information and documents. You must have this referral information with you during your initial appointment to be seen by the doctor.

Cancellations

As a regional center of excellence, there can be a several-day wait to see one of our physicians. Consequently, if you have to cancel an appointment, please call us as soon as possible, preferably at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This enables another patient to have your time slot.
